The Iota Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® provides programs and scholarships for students who are residents of Bergen County to promote academic growth and quality education. The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service. To date, we have given over $400,000 in scholarships to deserving young men and women.

Eligibility Requirements:

• African-American male or female

• Bergen County resident

• Graduating from high school and attending an institution of higher education ​​(2 or 4 year)

• A minimum  3.0 grade point average
